Been involved with youth hockey for 10 yrs as coach and manager. Have been with Dark Magic since its inception. 

I have worked my way up the ranks coaching from 8U to High school. Currently Assistant Coach for Bishop Shanahan Boys Ice Hockey. My goal each season is to give the kids the best opportunity I can to have a winning season and assist them in taking their own game to the next level.

Coached multiple skill levels and age groups since 2019 including a focus on goaltender development. Have functioned as a head and assistant coach for several youth programs, middle, and high school teams. 

Grew up playing in Western New York and Western PA. Attended UD and played on the D1 ACHA team. D1 

I’ve played hockey for 28 years and have been coaching since 1994, at every level of the game. I’ve had the privilege of coaching teams that have won major tournaments and built real pride in what they do. For me, it’s about accountability, work ethic, and results—getting kids to respond, push themselves, and compete the right way. At the end of the day, the goal is simple: make sure every player walks off the ice knowing they gave their best. 

Have been coaching since 2019. Have coached my 2 son's on previous Dark Magic teams. Have coached 12U for 2 years, 14U for 3 years, 16U for 2 years and currently in my first year of coaching HS hockey in CT. 

Starting playing organized club ice hockey in the late 1980's and began coaching my oldest son as a volunteer coach as part of the learn to skate / learn to play program at the Rolling Meadows Renegades Hockey club in Rolling Meadows, IL. Since that time I have also coached peewee and bantam hockey hockey for the Toms River Blackhawks, Toms River, NJ and the Brick Hockey Club, Brick, NJ. Currently, I am the assistant head coach of the Varsity Ice Hockey program for Ocean Township High School as a member of NJSIAA's Shore Conference South for the last 4 years. I along with the rest of the coaching staff at Ocean Township also coach the Ocean Township Middleschool Ice Hockey Program and the Junior Varsity League that are both run out of the Jersey Shore Arena in Wall, NJ. I am SafeSport certified, CPR Certified, First Aid Certified, and NFHS Concussion in Sports Certified. 

I have coached hockey in some form for the last 25+ years. I have experience from ages 6-18. I have a passion for teaching and helping kids to understand the game better. Team goals and team building are fundamental to my teaching methods.
